it's the one on the bottom.  but no... i didnt get to drink it.

here are some pics from christmas eve at matsuhisa, my favorite place in the whole world  

lobster sashimi with osetra caviar and gold flakes

 - salmon eggs marinated in bonito broth

 - octopus with dried fish roe
 - some kind of oyster...

sashimi salad:  hearts of palm, shiso leaf, seared tuna, kampachi, mirugai, uni, king crab. 

chilean seabass, fried shiso leaf, pickled ginger, and... TRUFFLES!! 

ok, this was my favorite.  kobe beef from kyushu with eringi mushrooms and a balsamic teriyaki sauce. 
best kobe beef i have ever had.

there were 3 of us, so we had 3 desserts .  this one is the banana bread pudding, with ice cream on top

so i finally completed halo 3.   took a few months... cuz i could only play on weekends.  and then only if i had the time.  legendary solo, of course.  i wish it was longer.  now im bored.  i need something to do..

no update in  while.. i guess ive been too busy to write.   lots ot stuff going on... maybe too much.  i need to slow down.
